The Month of June was another major milestone for my portfolio.
In a rare month where I didn’t contribute any capital to my portfolio, I not only hit a new all time high portfolio value of $80,000, but I also had my highest month of dividend income ever at $329.33.
This SHATTERED my previous my previous all time high set in March at $216.32.
The S&P 500 had a great month jumping up over 5%, which like I mentioned, helped push my portfolio to new all time highs as well.
Now, take a moment to think back to the beginning of 2023.
All the bad headlines about:
Inflation
Geopolitical tensions
Debt ceiling
Yet, the market is up over 16.40% year to date.
While it does make sense at times to consider the macroeconomic environment, the news will always give you reasons to not keep investing. Many investors missed the bull market over the last 6 months, strictly due to the fear mongering from the media.
Don't let fear mongering keep you from investing and staying invested.
Because I decided to keep investing through this time period, my portfolio is looking stronger than ever before.

In an effort to slightly increase my cash position, this was one of the very rare months where I actually didn’t contribute any capital to my portfolio (I added a large amount to existing positions last month).
But even though I didn’t add capital to my portfolio, I still was able to reinvest all $329.33 of my dividend income back into my portfolio.
Reinvesting my dividends, combined with the fact I invest into companies that increase the amount they pay in dividends year after year, is exactly what will kick the snowball effect into place.
I also received my largest dividend payment ever in the month of June.
The dividend ETF SCHD paid me $154.36.
Based off my current projections, I’m around 18.5 years away from achieving my ultimate goal of living off of dividend income.
Learning how to live off dividend income is oftentimes a misunderstood, which is why I made this video to help people better understand how to achieve this.
