I did something in my portfolio in November that I havenβt done in over 5 years.
I contributed $0 for the entire month.
At the beginning of the month my portfolio was sitting close $208,000.
And by the end, it was sitting at $216,000.
(Since then, itβs come down to around (214K)
Thatβs $8,000 of growth, without contributing a single dollar.
Thatβs the snowball effect.
But you know what is beautiful about dividend investing?
Even if the opposite happened, and my portfolio dropped by $8,000-
It wouldnβt change the fact that I have $518 on average coming in in dividend income every single month.
And that dividend income grows regardless of whether or not I make contributions to my portfolio, due to:
Reinvesting dividends
My holdings increasing dividend payouts
Dividend growth letβs you get the best of both worlds.
You can enjoy the run up in the market, while enjoying growing dividend payments.
And the reality is that dividend growers tend to outperform.
For example, I now have 4 different positions up over 100%!
There was another milestone hit this past month.
Iβve now received over $10,000 in dividend income since I started closely tracking my portfolio!
The current bull run weβve been on has been a lot of fun.
But the reality is the market could flip at any point.
This scares some-
But doesnβt bother me and shouldnβt bother you at all if you are a long term dividend growth investor.
Our dividend payments keep growing, regardless of what is going on in the market.
It is the ultimate βsleep well at nightβ investing strategy.

New subscriber. Where do I find the portfolio?
Generating 518 from 208,000 doesn't sound like much tbh. Couldn't even cover my rent with that. What am i missing?
