Looking for more investment ideas?
Then look no further.
One of my favorite ways to get new investment ideasβ¦
Stealing from Super Investors.
Super Investors are those managing over $100M in assets, and every quarter, theyβre legally required to disclose the changes in their portfolios.
This gives us a rare opportunity to see exactly where some of the brightest minds in investing are putting their money.
Super Investor Buys:
Here are the top 10 dividend stocks Super Investors were buying most frequently in the most recent quarter:
MSFT - Microsoft Corporation π»
V Visa - Inc. π³
DIS - The Walt Disney Company π’
WCC - WESCO International, Inc. ποΈ
SBUX - Starbucks Corporation β
AAPL - Apple Inc. π
GOOG - Alphabet Inc. π
CVS - CVS Health Corporation π₯
GOOGL - Alphabet Inc. π
NKE - NIKE, Inc. π
Notice anything about the majority of these stocks?
They are dividend growth stocks.
Super Investors donβt just focus on yield.
They focus on the quality of the business.
Want further proof?
Look at the key stats I put together on the top 50 most frequently bought dividend stocks by Super Investors below:
The average payout ratio for stocks on this list was just 3%, average total dividend growth over the past 5 years was almost 60%, and these stocks had an average return on invested capital of over 18%.
Below we can see the entire Top 50 list:
(Note: You can get the above spreadsheet here)
No doubt, there are some high yielders on this list, but the majority of these stocks all under the category of dividend growth.
For me personally, I was happy to see Microsoft and Visa at the top of the list, as these are my largest holdings outside of SCHD.
Thereβs always something to learn from the moves Super Investors make.
Who knows? Maybe their next big buy will inspire my portfolioβand yours too.
Your next great investment idea might already be waiting in their filings.
